5 Natural Remedies to Help You Remove Wrinkles

Aging is inevitable, and this means we end up with wrinkles. They develop because as we grow older, the elasticity of our skin reduces as collagen production declines.

No matter what age you are, when you see your first wrinkle start to form on your forehead or around your eyes, it can make you want to run to the nearest drug store and buy anything that says “anti-aging” on it.

However, you don’t need anything special to assist in removing your wrinkles. All you have to do is go to your pantry or kitchen. We’re going to go over five of the best natural remedies for reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Argan Oil

This natural plant oil comes from kernels of the argan tree, which was first found in Morocco. There are many health benefits from argan oil, but one of the most popular has been using it for anti-aging purposes.

The oil is rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids, which are great for reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It conditions the outermost layer of the skin and can help in cell renewal.

It’s light and not too greasy so that you can wear it during the day and at night. Argan oil can be focused on other forms of wrinkles around your eyes, mouth, and forehead. Gently massage the oil into problem areas, and you’ll start to see results.

Natural Remedies to Help You Remove Wrinkles

Aloe Vera

We all know that this miracle product can bring relief to sunburn, but there are other things aloe vera can do for your skin. You might have this plant in your home, so you can easily trim one of the limbs off and use it for your skin.

The nutrients in aloe vera can help increase the production of collagen, which keeps skin plump and wrinkle-free. It’s hydrating, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines you might already have. Aloe vera contains many vitamins including, B3 and C, and 18 amino acids.

Olive Oil

When you’re cooking the family dinner, it won’t hurt to rub some olive oil on your skin when you have fine lines. Massage the oil, which contains omega-3 fatty acids, all over your face. Omega-3 is good for our skin because it’s both hydrating and anti-inflammatory.

Make sure you buy a high-quality product because some of the cheaper cooking oils have fillers in them, which will do nothing for your skin.

Natural Remedies to Help You Remove Wrinkles

Egg Whites

We’ve all heard that eating egg whites in the mornings is terrific for your health, but did you know you can apply some directly on your face? You should make a mask with the whites and let it dry on your skin for about 15 minutes.

Egg whites contain vitamin E and B, which work to hydrate and calm the skin. They’re also high in protein, which helps wrinkles disappear.

Banana

With over 1,000 varieties, bananas are enjoyed as a snack all over the world. However, they make an excellent home remedy for wrinkles because of their natural oils and vitamins. Bananas leave your skin with a bright glow, which can make you look younger.

All you have to do is mask it up and let it sit on your face for about 20 minutes. This is a cheap and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

The Bottom Line

The best way to have fewer wrinkles is to prevent them in the first place. You should always wear sunscreen when outside and make sure you’re feeding your body with the correct nutrients.

When you do see the first signs, however, before going to the drug store, look in your home for argan oil, aloe vera, olive oil, egg whites, and bananas.
