|Where To Buy Tramadol?||VISIT PHARMACY|
There is hardly a person who has never felt pain. The ancient Greeks said: “Pain is a guardian of health”. Indeed, this feeling warns the body of impending danger.
Today, a large number of pain medications of domestic and foreign production are available on the pharmaceutical market. One of them is Tramadol.
Tramadol is a highly effective non-opioid analgesic of central action, intended for oral administration in acute or chronic pain of various etiology. Tramadol has a moderate toxic level and a good tolerance.
Being an opioid antagonist, Tramadol has an increased analgesic effect. Its action starts 20 minutes after the intake and lasts for up to 5 hours.
The drug effectively fights moderate to severe postoperative pain caused by trauma, biliary colic, myocardial infarction and painful medical procedures. Besides, Tramadol has an antitussive effect. When taken in therapeutic doses, Tramadol doesn’t cause respiratory depression. The drug doesn’t inhibit intestinal motility.
During the treatment with Tramadol, patients should follow some precautions: refuse from driving or engaging potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention or fast physical and mental reactions.
Patients with kidney/liver impairment should start Tramadol treatment with the lowest effective dosage. Caution should be exercised in the administration of the drug to patients with drug and alcohol dependence.
Route of administration and dosage
Swallow the pills whole (without chewing) with plenty of water. You may take this drug with or without food. The dose should be selected individually, depending on the pain intensity and the patient’s reaction to the drug. Recommended doses are indicative.
The duration of treatment should be determined individually. Always take the lowest effective drug dosage. Patients with chronic pain syndrome should adhere to a specific treatment regimen.
Oral administration: a single dose for adults and children over the age of 14 is 0.05 g (tablets or capsules) or 20 drops of a solution with a small amount of liquid or sugar. After 30-60 minutes, you can take another dosage. Avoid taking more than 8 doses per day.
The recommended dose of Tramadol is 100-200 mg every 12 hours. Maximum daily dose is 0.4 g (in exceptional cases, for example, cancer treatment, it is possible to reduce the interval between the doses to 6 hours and increase the drug dosage). Rectally – 0.1 g. The drug can be taken up to four times a day. IV (slowly), SC or IM: 0.05-0.1 g. In case of insufficient efficacy, additional infusion (12 mg/h) can be made 20-30 minutes after IV administration (another option to take the drug orally). Maximum daily dose is 0.4 g.
Children over the age of one year should be administered Tramadol only in drops or parenterally (IV, IM or SC) in the dose of 1-2 mg/kg. Maximum daily dose is 4-8 mg/kg (1 drop is equivalent to 2.5 mg). Elderly people and patients with kidney failure require an individual dosage (an increase in half-life is possible). Patients with a CT <30 ml/min and those with hepatic failure require a 12-hour interval between the doses.
- Hypersensitivity to tramadol or other drug components.
- Acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotic drugs, analgesics, opioids or other psychotropic medications.
- Use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO). Don’t take Tramadol if you have used an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days.
- Poorly controlled epilepsy.
- Opioid withdrawal.
- Children under the age of 14. Lactose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Tramadol is not used to treat drug withdrawal. Don’t mix Tramadol with ethanol. If you take a single dose of Tramadol, there’s no need to stop breastfeeding.
During the treatment, you should be careful when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and fast reaction.
