How to Extract Aloe Vera Juice?


To extract the juice from an aloe vera plant, you need to cut a mature leaf with a sharp knife. Then remove the spiked edges and slice the leaf open.

With a spoon, scoop out all the jelly-like juice. Break the leaf and squeeze it into a cup for the juice. You can also purchase the juice or gel from any food stores.

How to Use Aloe Vera Juice for Healthy & Long Hair?


Aloe vera works perfectly on its own but sometimes mixing it with other ingredients give a better result. We have listed 9 easy home-made recipes for you!

1. Aloe Vera Juice

For maximum hydration, aloe vera juice is the best!

Things you will need:

  • Aloe vera juice
  • shower cap
  • olive or avocado oil (optional)

Directions:

Wet your hair with aloe vera juice. If you want extra conditioning and softening, then you may add olive oil or avocado oil with aloe vera juice. Put on a shower cap on your hair and go to sleep.

Wash your hair when you wake up in the morning. If you have used pure aloe juice, then rinse with water only. If you added oils, then you need to shampoo and condition your hair.

2. Aloe Vera Juice with Castor Oil

Things you will need:

  • Aloe vera juice
  • Castor Oil
  • Fenugreek Powder
  • Shower Cap
  • A Bowl

Directions:

Take 1 cup of Aloe vera juice with 2 tablespoons of Castor Oil and 2 tablespoons of Fenugreek Powder. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Keep on stirring until the paste is smooth and consistent.

Apply this mixture to your hair, especially on the roots and tips of your hair. Cover it with a shower cap once your hair is fully covered with the mixture.

Keep it overnight. Wash the mixture off your hair in the morning with cool water and shampoo. Lastly, add conditioner, keep it for 2-3 minutes and wash it.

Repeat this 1-2 times a week for astounding results.

3. Honey with Aloe Vera Juice

Things you will need:

  • Aloe Vera Juice
  • Coconut Oil
  • Honey
  • Shower Cap
  • A small bowl
  • Cotton balls

Directions:

Take 5 tablespoons of Aloe Vera juice with 3 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Soak cotton balls in the mixture and use it to apply to your scalp and all over your hair. You can also do it with your hands. Leave it on for 25 minutes for strong, smooth and voluminous hair.

Apply this once a week or every fortnight and say no to hair loss!

4. Aloe Vera Juice with Egg

Things you will need:

  • Aloe Vera Juice
  • Olive Oil
  • Egg Yolk
  • Shower Cap
  • A small bowl

Directions:

Mix 4 tablespoon of aloe vera juice with 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil and 1 egg yolk in a bowl. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap once hair is fully covered and keep it for 25 minutes. Wash the mixture with cool water and shampoo. Do this once a week.

Do not use warm water because it might cook the egg in the mixture.

5. Onion and Aloe Vera Juice

Things you will need:

  • Onion Juice
  • Aloe Vera Juice
  • A small bowl

Directions:

For 1 cup onion juice, take about 3-4 large onions and blend them in a blender. Use a fine cloth to extract the juice. Add 1 tablespoon aloe vera juice and mix in the bowl.

Massage this mixture into your scalp and all over your hair. Keep it for 1 hour and then rinse your hair with shampoo.

Onion juice stimulates your scalp and the dormant follicles on it making it an excellent hair growth ingredient. Once a week, apply this mixture to your hair for amazing length and thickness.

6. Coconut Milk and Aloe Vera Juice

Things you will need:

  • Aloe Vera Juice
  • Coconut Milk
  • Coconut Oil
  • A bowl

Directions:

In a bowl, take 4 tablespoons Aloe Vera juice with 4 tablespoons Coconut Milk and 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil. Keep on mixing the ingredients until you get a smooth, and consistent mixture.

Apply this mixture to your scalp and your hair. Focus both on the tips and roots of the hair more. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo and finish with conditioner.

Once a week, apply this mixture, and it will nourish your scalp and hair. The coconut oil nourishes the hair from the inside of your hair.

7. Olive oil with Aloe Vera Juice

Things you will need:

  • Aloe vera juice/gel
  • Olive Oil
  • Essential oil for fragrance ( like Lavender essential oil)

Directions:

Take 1/4 cup aloe gel/ juice and combine with olive oil. With that mix in a few drops of your favorite essential oil. The essential oil will give off a beautiful fragrance.

After washing your hair with shampoo, apply the mixture to your hair. Leave it on for three to five minutes then rinse with water.

You can use the all-natural aloe vera as your conditioner rather than the commercial conditioners.

8. Lemon and Aloe Vera Juice

Things you will need:

  • Fresh Aloe Vera
  • Lemon Juice
  • A bowl

Directions:

In a bowl, take 2 tablespoons of Fresh Aloe Vera with 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice. Mix it until the mixture is smooth.

Apply the mixture to your scalp. Massage it with your hands for a couple of minutes. Then spread it through your hair. Leave the mixture on for about 20 minutes and then rinse your hair. Finish it by washing your hair with shampoo.

Apply this mixture to your hair once a week. It is rich in lemon juice with will boost collagen level and promote faster hair growth. Lemon juice also maintains optimum pH levels for your scalp.

Precaution


Aloe vera juice can become dry if left in contact with the scalp for long periods of time. If you are using aloe vera juice as a conditioning treatment, then wash after using it. If you want to leave it over-night in the hair, then mix the aloe vera juice with oil before applying. Oil balances out the drying effect of aloe vera.
